Morton Historical Society Museum

& Visitor Center

Our museum runs daily from 10am to 3pm PST. We house multiple exhibits about the town of Morton and the surrounding areas, highlighting the rich history of the land and the people who inhabit it.

Cinnabar Ore Cart

Before logging became a central part of Morton's economy, the town thrived on mining red cinnabar ore, which is used in the production of mercury.
